Step 1

Fill out the VO Meditation Form

The process begins by filling out this form. In it, we ask you a series of questions that allow us to relate to your story, struggles and current desires in life. 

*All answers are kept confidential and are only read by qualified VO Meditation Practitioners

Step 2

A trained VO Meditation Practitioner intentionally conducts an empowering meditation for you

Once a trained VO Meditation Practitioner (VOMP) familiarizes themselves with your answers, they begin an intentional meditation on your behalf.

*Note* This takes place at a time that is unbeknownst to you, and does not require you to be present with them.

A summary of the meditation process is as follows:

  1. Your VOMP begins by bringing themselves to a very relaxed state in which their conscious mind becomes calm and they are able to connect with their deeper, more intuitive subconscious mind.

  2. Once in this calm state, they then use their built-in “human WiFi” connection, also known as empathy, to connect with you at a very deep, subconscious level. The best way to practically understand this is to think of how you are able to connect with characters in a movie. Even though you are not in the movie itself, as you become engaged with the plot, you start to experience the same feelings the characters do.. In a similar light, your VOMP uses their calm, subconscious state to become completely engaged in your ‘movie’.

  3. After setting a positive intention to bring you back to an energetic state of balance, they begin to relate your experiences to their own, and intentionally trigger emotions within them, that you may have not fully worked through. For example, if say you lost a love one or went through a breakup, and never really let go of all the emotions entailed, they will relate that experience to a similar one of theirs, so as to truly feel the feelings you may have felt and are potentially still holding onto.

  4. Once in this emotional resonant state, they exaggerate the emotions and intentionally release these emotions on your behalf. While doing so, they continue to imagine the emotions channelling out of you and them, creating space for renewed, positive energy to take its place.

  5. Upon completion of the negative energy release, they then use their powerful visualization skills to imagine you as your ideal self. They project a version of you in their head that is full of love, gratitude, compassion and creativity.

Step 3

Your VO Meditation Practitioner will send you an email sharing insights and guidance that was received through the meditation

Following your meditation, your VOMP will send you an email sharing interesting insights and direction they received during the meditation. From our experience, this has been a key aspect of our service. Not only does it provide confirmation that the meditation is complete, but it provides you with valuable information that can help expand your self-awareness and increase your creativity, productivity, and performance.

Our Story

Like all great ideas, VO Meditation literally came out of nowhere.

In early 2017, Ryan Coelho sold all his belongings and ventured off into the remote regions of India and Nepal, on a mission to find something that he felt was missing in his life. Without any clear idea of what that was, and just a carry-on in tow, he explored places dedicated to meditation and yoga.

However, quickly thrown off balance by the hectic cultures, and not really resonating with what he was finding, within just two months of a trip that was supposed to last at least eight, he found himself back in Toronto even more lost than before.

By the summer of 2017, living out of his sister’s basement and having given up hope on his quest in personal development, he unwittingly spiralled into depression. Even after realizing he was in it, no matter what he tried to do in order to regain control of his mind, the negative thoughts prevailed. The dark hole seemed to be getting bigger and bigger with every breath, leaving him to wonder if he would ever find his way out.

It wasn’t until that fall that he began to understand what was going on. Throughout his life, Ryan had built so many walls to protect him from his painful emotions. He created a life that was within his perceived ‘control’. He developed ‘coping’ tools that taught him how to quickly shift away from negative thinking and avoid negative situations altogether. However, his depression acted as a sign that the energy required to sustain these walls could no longer be generated. His mind and body were literally breaking down because of the weight of the barriers.

On the frigid evening of December 30, 2017, everything came together and VO Meditation was born. In an unusual state, he began to meditate on what all his life experiences were trying to teach him. Like a Transformers robot forming or a Power Ranger morphing, the pieces started to effortlessly connect in his mind. The missing piece he had been searching for all along on the outside, actually existed within. He came to realize he is simply a conduit of energy, and the only thing that was getting in his way were the ideas, beliefs and perceptions he was holding onto, which blocked this natural flow of energy. One by one, instead of running away from his painful emotions, he dove into them head first, felt them to their entirety, and then intentionally let them go. And each and every time he did so, he felt lighter.

As the process progressed, like a lightning flash in the sky, the letters “VO” vividly appeared in his mind’s eye. Initially confused, he began to make sense of what was trying to be communicated to him through his intuition. During the meditations, Ryan would create an ‘avatar’ of himself and virtually operate it through numerous experiences in order to feel and release the stagnant emotions.

At this point, he was pretty pumped by the results and was excited to share the methodology in getting them with others. What he didn’t realize at this time, is just how evolutionary this process would be for meditation.

A couple of days after the discovery, his sister jokingly asked him to do a meditation for her in an effort to solve a struggle she was facing. Resistant at first, Ryan finally decided to do it without any real hope of an impact. The day after doing so, his sister reached out to say she had felt something like never before. It was in that moment it hit him – he had just discovered a way to meditate for others.

And from that day forward, the journey to bringing meditation into mainstream consciousness and popular culture continues. On top of that, we’re on a mission to make mediation something people enjoy doing, and in the past 3 months have completed over 45 meditations for others. We are continuously developing our training series, Meditation Made Simple, which you can use to help you start building your practice.

As an Aerospace Engineering graduate, Ryan knows that for meditation to stick as an accepted practice, it needs to make sense rationally. Combining his heavily analytical mind with his awareness of a guiding, helpful, unseen power – similar to that of gravity – he is colliding the worlds of force and faith… intention and intuition… Yin and Yang.
